Instructions for Products That Require Ear ImpressionsFor custom ear molds, custom ear plugs, and full custom earphones, first order the custom product you need, then you must obtain a set of impressions. Most of the custom products we sell include our do-it-yourself impression kit, and when you place your order we will send you the kit right away. You will make your own impressions and return them to us at the address below. The kit comes with everything you need including fully illustrated instructions and the box in which to send the impressions to us. Making your ear impressions is simple, safe and easy and takes just 10 minutes or so. Here are the impression kit instructions you can review if you like, to see what you are getting into before you order. We provide our impression kit as a convenience only, so if you prefer, you can visit a local audiologist to obtain the required impressions. The cost is usually $15-50 and it takes less than 10 minutes. You will receive your impressions at the time of your visit to the audiologist. Once you have the impressions, mail them to us and we will do the rest. Completion of your custom-fit product generally takes 10-14 days from the date we receive a good set of impressions from you.
